I graduated from Emory University in 2017 with a 3.06 GPA in Economics. However, because of Emory's liberal arts approach I took classes from many different majors including English, Chemistry, Religion, Business and Nursing.
Experience
I was a part of a tutoring program with the elementary school that fed into my high school for all 4 years; I also have 3 siblings who I have tutored at various points of their lives. My SAT score was 1240/1600, and my ACT score was 31/36. I want to tutor students to help them reach their full potential. I believe that if students are struggling in school, or even just not reaching the goals that they have set for themselves, the reason is not inability but rather a need for more personal instruction. Not every student learns the same way, or at the same pace, and it would be my job as their tutor to find the best way to teach each student.
