In this past year I have already tutored in Anatomy & Physiology and Chemistry and I continuously have the drive and love to teach others in as many courses and areas of study as I can. I look forward to the challenge that Unversity tutors can provide me and I hope that I can give something to the students I tutor as well. I hope to give them not only knowledge from the texts but possibly be a mentor to them as well. I receieved a 5 on AP AMERICAN HISTORY AND AP CALCULUS AB. I also received a 4 on AP Microeconomics. But I am specifically fond of teaching Chemistry. I graduated from The George Washington University with a GPA of 3.66. I got a Bachelors in Science in Exercise Science with a Pre-med concentration. I am currently a Masters student in Teachers College at Columbia University concentrating my studies on Motor Learning and Control. I am applying for medical school in the spring of 2010 and hope to enroll by sep 2011. I have taken all the chemistry, biology, physics, and organic chemistry to be able to teach high school students the basics needed for an advanced science course. I have done research this past summer at SUNY Downstate Medical Center on Lacrosse Injury and Have worked as a Pharmacy Techniciam for CVS Pharmacy for the past 2 years. I am currently also a research assistant for a professor in the department of biobehavioral science at Teachers College (Columbia University). I am also CPR/AED certified if needed. I live in Brooklyn and I can travel an hour if needed to tutor based on a flat rate pay for travel I received a 30 on my MCAT as well
