I'm enrolled at St. John's University's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where I'm working on earning my PharmD degree. I've always been skilled in helping others with academics and studying. I find it important to integrate real-life applications into my teaching strategy in order to make material more relatable, fun, and useful to students. I wasn't initially interested in the sciences when I was younger, but I became excited by a number of theories as I got older. Having needed tutors to help me with my studies in my adolescence, I learned that it's really important to be patient and flexible with students' learning processes and speed. Educators have to be able to meet students at their level and pace. I've worked with students in elementary to advanced Math (including Algebra and Arithmetic), Science (including Chemistry), and with test preparation. I believe time management is important in any person's education, so they can make time for relaxation and leisure activities. Some of my interests outside of work and school are sports (tennis, football, and basketball). I also enjoy listening to music and DJing.
