I've had experience tutoring high school students at the Harlem Children's Zone in Harlem in the subjects Math and Science. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy teaching in my spare time and it is an avenue through which I can earn some money while going to college at the same time. I have been awarded the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship and the H. Austin Kaye Undergraduate Scholarship.
