Experience
As a certified NYDOE teacher, I have taught grades PK-5th and worked with students in both middle and high school. I have tutored students of all ages in English reading and writing. I find ways to help each individual client based on their goals and learning needs. I have experience in working with English Language Learners and children with Learning Disabilities. This past year I tutored three fifth graders in English reading and writing. Through my intervention plan, they moved from reading at a first grade to third grade level.

Hobbies
I love to learn about languages and culture. Social Studies and English are my favorite subjects when I was in school. I also was the captain of my college lacrosse team. I enjoy to dance and play the cello as well. I lived for two years in Costa Rica where I traveled and taught English as a second language.
