CUNY Brooklyn College - graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in biology. I am currently working towards a Master's in biology with a specific concentration in Microbiology and Cell/Molecular Biology; current GPA of 4.0. As an undegradute, I minored in psychology and studied cognition, learning, and memory.
Experience
In my two years of tutoring college Chemistry, Biology and Physics, I have assisted students, who were averaging C's across science classes, form learning and studying methods that helped them really understand concepts and score A's on their exams and overall courses. I customize my lessons and develop teaching plans for each student based on their individual needs. I will meet with students one-on-one to review class material, clarify specific learning problems, and assist in developing strong study skills as well as problem solving techniques. During the tutoring sessions, I also coach students on how to improve their overall academic achievement in the future.
