Experience
I am a Brooklyn based artist who makes large-scale, classically informed paintings and line drawings of the human figure. I am trained in traditional methods of Renaissance painting, such as oil-glazing and Verdaccio, as well as the more contemporary Alla Prima (wet on wet) style popularly used by the French impressionists. I provide detailed, personalized instruction on how to achieve realistic work, specializing in portraits and the figure. Whether you are completely new to painting and would like to learn the basics of color theory, color mixing, and composition, or already have a foundation in Fine Art but would like to refine your technique, all skill levels and ages are encouraged to get in touch!
