Experience
I graduated from Lander College for Women in the Touro Undergraduate Division with a high GPA. I'm currently a graduate student studying speech-language pathology. Throughout my educational career, I have studied with my peers to help them better understand our lessons. During college, I tutored students in my major, helping them edit their essays and to study the material. I even helped students in other courses. I've spent a great deal of time tutoring students with disabilities. I worked as a teaching assistant at the Otsar Early Childhood Center. Currently, I work with children with autism and other communicative delays at the Rebecca School. My expertise with special needs involve reading comprehension, math, and language development. As a tutor, I strongly believe in the important of patience, support, compassion, and positivity. I strive to provide creative and engaging classes that use interesting materials to ensure full mastery of the concepts. Whether I am working with my student to improve their college level American history understanding or their ability to write an engaging thesis, I can work with them on the skills needed to succeed. Outside of teaching, I love to sing. I also enjoy playing musical instruments and volunteering with special needs organizations.
