I work as a high school Spanish and French teacher with solid training in foreign language education. I tutored students in middle school through college-level languages for the past decade. I spent a semester in college studying in Spain while living with a family. While there, I learned the importance of communication. As a tutor, I understand the importance of personalized learning. Everyone learns differently from one another. It's up to me to identify the ideal strategies to use when working with a student to improve their understanding of the language. When a student is struggling, I can pinpoint the problem areas and adjust my pacing to work through the issues with them. I can work with students on improving their knowledge in AP Spanish literature and culture, IB language and literature, and other related subjects. In addition, I can help students prepare for the LSAT logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and other sections. I align each tutoring session to keep the student on the path to success, optimizing their opportunities for success and building their confidence. In my free time, I enjoy reading about international affairs and politics. I also enjoy going to the gym for a good work out and eating healthy foods.
