I think tutoring is especially beneficial because of the individualized approach. When I tutor can focus on a student and their needs, they are providing something that isn't available in the classroom. As a tutor, I want to provide conducive learning environment with open communication and trust, so the student feels comfortable asking questions and is not afraid of sounding dumb. I can tutor algebra, calculus, writing, essays, history, English, and more. I can also help students prepare for the ACT, SAT, AP exams, and others. When I have free time, I like to play the piano, run, plan events, and read.
