ExperienceThe most rewarding part of tutoring to me is when my students fully understand a topic that they once thought was impossible to learn. This is why I focus a lot of time and energy on each one of my pupils. My experience that contributes to being a great tutor includes tutoring my peers, elders, and children. In the past, I also volunteered to teach GED courses around the Brooklyn area. Additionally, right now, I am teaching my own after-school program. I teach junior high students STEM topics by using a lot of hands on learning activities. When I am not doing that, I also volunteer at Brooklyn College, teaching SAT math.
My education plays a big role in tutoring as well. I have a bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering and I minored in Mechanical Engineering. My favorite subjects to help with include physics and mathematics because of the challenge they provide. Also, while earning my engineering degree I had so many physics and math courses, so I have a lot of experience. In addition to those courses, I can also help with SAT prep. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me, so we can discuss you or your child's specific needs and get started learning!
