Experience

I attended Binghamton University to earn my bachelor's degree in creative writing English. I tutored as an undergraduate, working with students and adults at all levels of understanding with various topics. I loved this experience because it showed me how much I enjoyed helping others learn. After college, I taught ESL in Spain, giving me experience putting together lesson plans and the right level for my students, and also experience finding ways to keep students engaged. I enjoy working with the classroom setting, but I really missed the individual attention I can give students to help them learn efficiently and effectively. I know to figure out a student's needs and then customize my approach to help them find success. My tutoring specialties are Spanish, ESL, literature, writing, and my passion for these topics allows me to tutor them successfully. When I have free time, I like to read, crochet, and draw.
