Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY
George Washington University - Bachelors, Middle East Studies
I am an experienced tutor who has worked with students of all different ages. I can help students with their algebra, elementary math, middle school math, reading, writing, American history, English, social studies, World history, and a variety of other subjects. I can also tutor Hebrew and Arabic as I have lived in Jerusalem and Amman. I received my degree in Middle East Studies at the Elliott School of International Affairs, where I graduated magna cum laude. I am currently an honors student in the Religion Department at George Washington University. I have worked with students in a variety of settings over the past three years. I have tutored third graders at a Hebrew School, worked with students through the Reading Partners program in D.C., and tutored college students while I was an undergraduate student at the Elliot School of International Affairs. As a tutor I want to help my students develop a plan to achieve their academic goals. I am a patient tutor and I make all of my tutoring sessions as interesting and fun as possible. When I'm not tutoring or studying I enjoy running in the park, listening to music with my friends, discussing current events, and meeting new people.
