Presently living in New York City, I previously graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University. Right now, I'm in the process of applying for entry to medical school.I tutored college students over the last 48 months, and I have gotten a lot of personal satisfaction at seeing the people that I tutor score high marks in their biology and mathematics courses, even though they previously had difficulty with such subjects. I believe that the secret to succeeding at science and math lies in figuring out how to study properly for the courses. Furthermore, I realize that my tutoring style needs to be adapted to mesh with the learning styles of my students so that true learning and progress can take place. I've seen this collaborative effort yield results time and time again.It is my goal to ensure that the people I tutor realize that they have the potential to achieve impressive results in their courses if they put in the work to make sure that their dreams materialize.Outside of tutoring and studying, I like to volunteer at various organizations, explore New York City, spend time with family and friends, learn photography, travel, and do yoga.
