I am pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science at Brooklyn College. I have a somewhat unusual educational path in that I am majoring in a STEM field and minoring in music technology, a humanities field. I believe my eclectic experiences make me an adaptive tutor. I tutor several courses, including algebra 1, algebra 2, calculus 1, precalculus, elementary math, trigonometry, math, technology and computer science, and middle school math.One of the things I love about computers and math is the ability to take what I have learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world scenarios. It is my goal, as a tutor, to show my students how their studies can apply to their own lives. Once students make a personal connection to the material they are studying, I believe learning becomes much easier. When I have the time, I enjoy playing chess, programming, intellectual conversations, playing video games, and talking about computers.
