I attended the University of California at San Diego. In college, I acted as teacher's assistant in an introduction to biology course, a class on cell biology. During this time, my affinity for instruction began. I have experience tutoring students at the middle and high school level. Subjects I am knowledgeable in include: algebra, biology, chemistry, Mandarin Chinese, reading, writing, social sciences, and test prep skills. Clearly, my academic interests are widely varied.Watching students become enlightened with information that I have provided them is really rewarding. I always make every attempt to deliver the subject matter in a way that each student can fully understand. When I am not teaching, my hobbies are just as numerous as my chosen topics of study. I have written music for a blog, and enjoy listening to music. I like to read good books, and sometimes I even write a little myself.
