Experience
I have a deep love for education, and I am constantly trying to learn new things. I also believe in real world application of a subject, and I work to make this something I teach all my students. I want them to realize the subjects they are studying have a place outside the classroom as well. I have had many engaging teachers in my lifetime, and I work hard to be the same to my students. I am passionate about books, reading, and writing, and I want my students to feel the same way about these subjects.I am available to work with students in the following areas: Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, English, Social Studies, and AP subjects. These include AP English language and Composition and AP Art History. I also offer test prep assistance, including SAT help in Writing and Literature as well as Critical Reading and Verbal. I also offer PSAT help in Critical Reading. I earned my degrees at Emerson College and CSU, Long Beach. When I'm not working with my students, I love to read (naturally!), write, and suggest good books. I try to find books and subjects that will interest others based on their personalities. To me, reading is more than a hobby, it's a lifestyle!
