I was a Math major at Hunter College. I first started tutoring in high school eight years ago. I worked with students in a variety of subjects. Once I graduated from high school, I worked at many different internships and jobs. However, you could still find me tutoring in Brooklyn at different centers in the area. As a tutor, my approach is to go well past just a basic understanding of the content. I think it is very important to teach each of the basic concepts. In Math, this is really key. If you can only solve a single, specific problem, you really are not learning. You are just working rote memorization. If you learn the fundamentals, you then have the ability to find solutions to every problems. You gain analysis skills, and grow academically. I live in Brooklyn, New York. I like to play soccer, read, and explore New York City.
