Experience

I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of subjects, including English (ELA), mathematics, science, geography, and philosophy, as well as having tutored students for test prep (SSAT, ISEE, and IB) and to improve general organizational skills. I also have considerable experience working with children of all ages as a soccer coach and am currently completing a Masters degree in science education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Hobbies

I am an enthusiastic cook, having worked as a professional chef for several years. I find that cooking is a wonderful creative outlet for me (something that I believe is important for everyone to have). I also love playing sport and am involved in a wide range of outdoor activities. I have competed at Australian national level for rowing and rock climbing, and am passionate about soccer (both playing and watching - go Arsenal!) In my free time I like to get outdoors, hiking, exploring new places, eating new food, meeting new people. I love travel and foreign languages and would like one day to have lived on every continent (I'm currently up to three!)
