Columbia University, 2015 BA, Sociocultural Anthropology Phillips Exeter Academy, 2011

The summer after graduating from Columbia University, I worked as a teacher at Prep for Prep, an educational non-profit that is very near and dear to my heart. I thoroughly appreciated the opportunity to work alongside a talented group of young students. In addition to teaching, I've served as an admissions interviewer at Prep for Prep for the last three years working with prospective students. As someone who was born into a low-income household, education has always been important to me. It has opened up so many opportunities for me, allowing me to study abroad and attend some of the best academic institutions the world has to offer. Education is one's key to a brighter future and I believe every child deserves access to quality learning opportunities.

I'm a diehard music lover. Throughout my life I've played a variety of instruments and currently run my own music and events company where I manage musical talent. I'm also an avid fan of technology, video games, and sports like basketball, football, and lacrosse! On weekends, I coach for the youth basketball program, Dribbl!
