I have been a special education teacher for 11 years. I worked for the NYC public schools for 7 years as a 4th grade teacher and have been a 9th/10th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher at a private school for students with special needs for the past 4 years. I specialize in Orton-Gillingham based phonics instruction for students who struggle with decoding.
