I believe the better educated you are, the more opportunities abound. My parents instilled in me strong educational values, paramount being that I must always put my studies first. My father taught me algebra when I was in the fourth grade; I have loved math ever since and believe that's why I have always excelled at it. It is my experience that when mathematical concepts are explained clearly and effectively, anyone can learn and deepen their understanding. I tutor a variety of math and science subject areas, and can also help with the subjects tested by the ACT and SAT. I am studying for a master's degree in business at the CUNY Graduate Center, Brooklyn College. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration from Brooklyn College, which I completed concurrently with premedical courses. Soon I will take the MCAT and apply to medical school. One day, I want to work with children as a pediatrician. I live in Brooklyn with my parents and two younger sisters. We moved to the United States from Bangladesh when I was three and one-half years old. In my free time, I enjoy shopping, watching Netflix, learning how to cook new things, and cleaning.
