Experience
Walt Stanchfield, one of the old Disney animation gurus once wrote: "Impression minus expression equals depression." In my mind we are all artists, but it is easy to get lost in the "magic" of it all. It's easy to say to one's self, "I could never do that." However once one learns the basics making art becomes quite simple, fun, and even therapeutic. If you are applying to college: I know what a scholarship student looks like because I was one. I would be happy to offer portfolio reviews, admission letter advice, and general art school guidance. If you would simply like some general lessons, my skills are vast. Ranging from 3D animation to classical oil painting. It is widely accepted that part of being an artist is learning to teach. To reciprocate one's knowledge is very closely linked to artistic expression. Also I like to meet new people and share. Finally having studied under some great teachers and professors has inspired me to return the favor, to give back.
