I have many years of full time experience tutoring Math, Physics, Chemistry, SAT I, SAT II and ACT, offering a steady and patient approach to helping my students achieve their academic and professional potential. I work with students on Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Physics and Chemistry, explaining challenging concepts with clarity and precision. I have worked with many dozens of student at the High School, AP, IB and College Levels, using learning and study techniques that I have seen improve students’ grades and scores over and over again. Having studied physics at Cornell University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA, and working in various engineering fields before becoming a tutor I have a deep understanding of math and science, and know high school and college curricula well. For the SAT and ACT exams, I develop strategies tailored to individual students’ styles of learning for the Math, Reading and Writing sections.
