Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY
Yale University - BS, Biology
I graduated from Yale University in 2012, earning my degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. I have tutored since high school, and have since continued the tradition. I worked with MathCounts at Yale for four years, offering math assistance to a group of students. I hope to continue tutoring as I strive to continue my education as well. I would like to move on to graduate school someday. I understand the importance of education, but also the importance of social interaction. I am both sociable and professional, making me an excellent tutor. I have a number of skills that I can share, and offer assistance with varying subjects. I not only assist with math, but also essay editing, college essays, English, and languages. I speak Latin, and offer that as a tutoring option as well. I also know how important it is to use the right test taking strategies, and understand how to pass an important exam. For that reason, I offer various courses in SAT and ACT test prep.I enjoy my time as a tutor, as well as a student, but I also require free time. I use it to learn Java programming and spend time on the computer, keep track of my thoughts in a journal, read, and create picture collages.
