Education
I am a Queen College Undergraduate student. I am Double Majoring in Psychology as well as Communication Sciences and Disorders. I wish to become a speech language pathologist in the future, to help children attain the ability to speak their mind. My GPA is currently 3.168. I am expected to graduate in May 2017.
Experience
I started off volunteering at a tutoring center called Core Tutorial back in 2011. Then in 2012 I finally began working at BAARNY Tutoring Center as a tutor. In 2013, I switched to Math Matters which has multiple branches in Queens. I then began private tutoring in 2014 because I realized the significance of how much a student improves and learns when they are given one-on-one attention. I have so far privately tutored 6 kids since 2014 for at least 4 months to one 1 year.

Hobbies
I have been writing poetry since the 1st grade, and my uncle who worked for one of the Bengali newspapers would publish my poems many times. I entered a poetry contest in 2011 and I won as a semi-finalist, with my poem being published in a book of poems. I have been playing the piano by ear since elementary school, and I have loved singing karaoke since high school, especially with friends!
