Yale University - B.A., Philosophy

I attended Yale University where I earned a degree in Philosophy and graduated magna cum laude. Currently, my career involves performing work surrounding democracy and voting issues with the Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights. I have been in Chicago for 2 years now working for this project. When I tutor, I specialize in helping students prepare for standardized tests. I personally earned great scores on the many standardized tests I took, including the ACT, LSAT, and eleven AP tests, and I like to pass my knowledge of the tests and tips on how to master them to others. I think anyone can earn great scores on the tests when they prepare properly. I actually even find them a little fun and feel personal pride when I see my students' scores soar greatly after I help them practice. I can also help you prepare for the SAT, PSAT, or any other test you are facing. When not tutoring, I enjoy improvisational comedy, martial arts, and Greek philosophy. I also love watching Tarantino and Coen Brothers movies.
