ExperienceI earned my degree in psychology from Wake Forest University. Currently, I'm working toward a professional career in physical therapy. As far as tutoring is concerned, I have more than five years of experience working with individuals at the elementary to college level. I'm adept at tutoring algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, anatomy, chemistry, physics, physiology, psychology, math, science, and social sciences. I'm also proficient in helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT, GRE, and PSAT as well as offering my expertise to students to fill out their college applications. When it comes to my teaching philosophy, I believe in creating an environment conducive to learning. Engaging with students on their own terms is an integral part of this philosophy as well as my aim to enrich my students, offering them goals to aspire to. Students need a positive environment to thrive in, and I work toward creating just that. Outside of the classroom, I'm a huge fan of basketball. I also enjoy following football, relaxing with my dog, and watching Netflix.
