Experience
I am a graduate of Scripps College, where I studied Molecular Biology and Music, with a concentration in Vocal Performance. After my undergraduate degree, I decided to pursue music at Case Western Reserve University, where I received an MA in Historical Performance Practice, or the study of early classical music performance. I have moved to New York to start a career as a singer, but I also have a passion for teaching. It is so rewarding for me to see my students improve and do well in subjects in which they were previously struggling. At Scripps College, I tutored chemistry and organic chemistry for the science department, and music theory for the music department. As I am now pursuing music, teaching is the way that I stay in touch with my love of chemistry and biology. I also enjoy tutoring elementary and middle school math, as well as teaching voice lessons.
