Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY

Brown University - BA, Public Policy and American Institutions

While my undergraduate is in Public Policy, my academic background is very diverse - British Literature to Organic Chemistry to Biology. My friends would describe me as patient, compassionate, and hardworking. My tutoring career began in high school when I worked with my little sister when she was struggling with homework. My approach is to engage each student I tutor in a way to identify their optimal learning style so that the content is not only memorized but internalized. I can tutor many subjects including Medieval Literature, Study Skills and Organization, Business, SAT Subject Tests, Trig, Calculus and Algebra. In my spare time I like to write, read fiction, and cook.
