Experience
A resident of Brooklyn, New York, I have had many enriching experiences that have led me to pursue a career in teaching. I attended both Butler College and the University of North Texas. For seven years, I have worked as an instructor in France and in the U.S. In the present, I hold a position at Berkeley College as an adjunct professor, and I also tutor high school students through a private company. By next year, I hope to be certified to teach secondary foreign language. I specialize exclusively in teaching the French language. I am a proficient speaker and can work within various levels, from beginners to advanced learners. My style of instruction is the immersion method. I prefer to throw the students right into the deep end rather than letting them get their feet wet. This method may seem intimidating, but it is actually the most effective for success. There is something very enriching about learning a new language. You become familiar with a whole new culture and can communicate with them, opening all kinds of doors for opportunity. In my free time, I also enjoy listening to music or reading a good book. I also like to cook and travel when I can.
