Dan W.
Private tutor in Brooklyn, NY
Education
Columbia University, BA in Philosophy. I graduated summa cum laude with a 3.92 GPA. I was awarded Departmental Honors for my thesis, which was on social epistemology. After years of being an autodidact, I attended Columbia as an older student. It was a blast. I met some great people and got to be editor-in-chief of their undergraduate philosophy journal.
Experience
I specialize in all things verbal (logical reasoning, vocab, grammar, writing, etc.), and am well-versed in math. I am passionate about teaching, and am absolutely dedicated to inspiring understanding in my students. (In the fall, I'll start teaching math and verbal skills in NYC schools, in addition to my private work.)
