I have over 10 years' teaching experience at various institutions in China and the United States, including teaching biochemistry for three years to students in China. I prepared and presented lectures, met with students, and administered exams. I attended PhD graduate school at the University of Missouri-Columbia and taught biochemistry as a teaching assistant. My excellence in teaching was awarded with the Donald K. Anderson Teaching Award. I also earned a master's degree in Statistics at UCLA. I also taught courses such as Statistics and Life Science to undergraduate students. I completed formal teacher training and certification through UCLA. I always received excellent reviews of my teaching from students, supervisors, and fellow educators. I am always focused on the course and committed to helping the students understand the subject matter. I prepare fastidiously and ensure my presentations are on point and effective. I enjoy teaching and bring two notable strengths to the role. I am very dedicated to the students' overall learning experience and I take great pride in the moment when a student realizes a solution to a problem. I also strive to approach subject content from various angles to confirm my preparedness and ability to help the students. Away from class, I like road cycling and mountain biking.
