Education
I graduated from Touro College in 2011, with a major in history and a minor in English literature. My GPA was 3.85. I am currently enrolled in a history masters degree program at Fordham University, graduating next June. I am training to become a historian, and am preparing for my PhD in history.
Experience
Along the way towards my PhD, I have had many teaching opportunities. I have taught in CUNY colleges like John Jay and Hunter, as well as in the capacity of private tutor. Through these experiences, I developed a deep interest in education. I have come to believe that many students lack the ability to succeed in the liberal arts because they never developed adequate writing skills. I have worked with all of my students to efficiently absorb information, practice critical thinking, and improve their ability to read and write effectively. I love teaching, and having gotten a perfect score on the SAT, I know the material that high school and college students need in order to thrive academically.
