I am pursuing my Doctorate in Pharmacy from St. John's University. I began tutoring peers in middle school and have continued throughout my collegiate studies. I tutor many courses, including algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, trigonometry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, math, chemistry, science, and general chemistry. While I do tutor individual academic courses, I consider test preparation my specialty. I enjoy helping students prepare for tests such as the ACT, SAT, SHSAT, and PSAT. My educational philosophy can be summed up as "practice makes perfect." I believe that even once a student has a basic understanding of a difficult concept, they will need repetition to gain and retain the information. I love having the opportunity to help other people, and I find a deep level of satisfaction in helping students achieve their academic goals.During my free time, I enjoy basketball, soccer, watching films and television, and exploring museums.
