Experience

I've tutored and nannied in NYC for the past 6 years and have experience both in group settings –as a camp counselor, tutor at 826NYC, and intern at Girls Write Now– and as a one-on-one tutor and homework helper for kids ages 8-13. Love teens, too! I scored 4s and 5s on my AP exams (Spanish, Environmental Science, Calculus, English) and excelled in the ACT exam. I'm a big reader and writer (my passion is in the humanities). In the Spring, I'll be teaching an undergraduate writing course at Columbia, and have experience running my own creative writing workshop for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Hobbies

I'm a fiction writer working on my MFA thesis. I love biking as well as photographing, and am hoping to start my own creative writing workshop for kids in the city that integrates translation and visual art. I am a native Spanish speaker and am very lucky to say that I've spent my whole life traveling through Europe and the Americas.
