I graduated from Georgia State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in Social Work. I have been teaching kindergarten for the past two years while attending graduate school at Brooklyn College, and have now completed my master's degree in Education and a certificate in General and Special Education. I am able to tutor courses in elementary and middle school mathematics, pre-algebra, algebra 1, reading, writing, phonics, grammar and mechanics, American and European history, United States government and politics, earth science, geography, physical science, social studies, and English. I can also teach ESL/ELL as well as African-American history. I am experienced in teaching students in a group setting, and can also provide individual attention. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, painting, arts and crafts, shopping, and visiting museums and other historical sites.
