I have dedicated most of my early work experience to teaching and mentoring children, and love spending time with kids. I've worked as a child-care supervisor at an art-centered day care center called The Art Cubby, where I spent significant time with kids teaching them arts and crafts. Additionally, I've spent four summers at Wake Forest University as a camp-counselor for various children's athletic and academic summer camps. I was homeschooled for most of my elementary education, and thus understand first hand the dynamics of a one-on-one teaching dynamic. My parents are both teachers, my mother in elementary special education, and I've learned a lot over the years from both of them. I'm a patient, attentive and compassionate person with a passion for reading and writing, and would very much like the opportunity to be of assistance to you and your children! I scored an 1850 on the SAT's, with a 700 in the writing portion. I'm an NYU deans scholar and Summa Cum Laude graduate. Thanks very much for your consideration!
