I attended Pace University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in English. From there, I went on to New York University, where I got a Master of Arts degree in English. Somewhere along the way, I discovered that my real affinity was teaching, more so than researching. So, I furthered my education and obtained an M.A. in Teaching from Bard College. Over the past six years, I have instructed grades eight through twelve, as a certified teacher of English. I now act as an adjunct professor at several higher education institutions, where I am responsible for teaching three different classes. Disciplines I focus on are reading, writing, literature, test prep, and essay writing. I take my students into consideration when I am crafting a lesson plan. An educational approach can only be successful if the learner's preferences and personality are taken into account. I pay close attention to each person. So, I am able to form a connection with those I am working with and bring forth positive results.Currently, I reside in Brooklyn, New York, where I dabble in photography in my spare time. I also enjoy other hobbies such as needlework, reading and watching science fiction, and writing my own pieces.
