My tutoring experience focuses on math, as it is the subject I enjoy the most. I attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor's degree in math. Afterwards, I moved to New York to participate in the NYC Teaching Fellows program. I also obtained a master's degree in education from St. John's University in Queens. I have experience teaching children in middle school. I can teach arithmetic, middle school math skills, pre-algebra, all levels of algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus.Tutoring math allows me to be as creative in my educational approaches as I can. This way, I can respond to the individualized needs of every student that I work with. All students are capable of understanding math concepts. It's up to me, the tutor, to find the best learning style for my students.I enjoy leading an active lifestyle. In my free time, I like to go dancing, ride my bike, and swim.
