I am imaginative and creative, an avid reader, intellectually curious, naturally empathetic, and highly visual. I really like kids, and have always enjoyed interacting with them. I engage them easily, and am honestly interested in how they think, express themselves, and learn. I have a younger sister nearly 12 years my junior, and mentoring her, helping at her school, and interacting with her friends and other students in her various grades has given me a hands-on appreciation for elementary education specifically. However, having a history degree from Fordham University has allowed me to possess an extensive knowledge of the humanities and strong research and analytical capabilities as well as a good foundational knowledge of math and science.
