Experience
I received my bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Columbia University. As a student, I had an eclectic mix of courses that ranged from the humanities to the sciences. I have experience working as a peer tutor at my university, and I also worked as an editor on the university newspaper and research journal.I tutor a wide variety of courses, including algebra 1 & 2, calculus 1, elementary math, middle school math, statistics, trigonometry, French 1 & 2, reading, writing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, writing and editing essays, psychology, arithmetic, public speaking, English, languages, social sciences, and technology and computer science.I have had great personal success taking standardized tests. I scored quite well on the SAT overall, and perfectly on the written section. I enjoy sharing my personal strategies with students who are preparing for their own upcoming SAT exam.During my free time, I enjoy searching for the perfect cup of coffee, listening to classical music, and exercise.
