Experience
While I specialize in science, math, and writing, I also tutor students in a variety of academic subjects; additionally, I offer executive function coaching to those struggling with planning, time-management, and focus. I provide parents with monthly reports on their child’s progress and am flexible regarding hours. I also make myself available to students via email, text, and/or video messaging for questions, homework help, and paper editing in between regular sessions. Currently a full-time physics and film studies teacher at Stuyvesant High School, I have nine years’ experience teaching/tutoring students, grades 7-12, in both public and independent schools throughout NYC (including Brooklyn Tech, Dalton, Horace Mann, John Dewey, Mary McDowell, and St. Ann’s, among others). A graduate of Columbia Engineering, I have four degrees and two teaching certifications. I have logged over 1500 hours of private tutoring in NYC.
