I graduated with a 3.15 GPA from Colgate University in 2013 and hold a BA in English. I attended Dickinson College for 3 semesters, from 2009 to 2010, and then transferred to Colgate University to finish my undergraduate career, graduating with the above credentials. In the summer of 2011 I took a Food Science and Cultures class at the University of Connecticut's Waterbury campus for college credit in the sciences.

Being a figure of assistance, instruction and support is fulfilling and rewarding, and it is a great accomplishment to do even a little bit to further the development of a young child's mind. I have experience with young children ages 4-12 from years of lifeguarding for summer camps, teaching arts and crafts classes, serving as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and babysitting. I was and still am a diligent, interested student of English Literature and I intend to get my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I connect well with children as a supporting figure and am eager to make a difference in individuals’ learning experiences, helping as much as I can where needed. I am available for tutoring for up to 6 hours during the work week (after 5pm) and up to 6 hours on the weekend during any time slots. I am an eager but patient 24-year old working and living in New York City! I am an avid reader, a dedicated runner and yoga practicer, and an amateur baker. I love exploring all the wonderful museums, theaters and cultural events this city has to offer with friends and loved ones. Originally from Connecticut, I am thrilled to be living in New York and to stay here for the foreseeable future. I have two sisters, one in Washington D.C. and one in San Francisco, and I enjoy being able to visit them and experience life in different places!
