I am an experienced tutor and classroom teacher, and I am a tenured professor who has taught literature and college composition for over 22 years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Production and a master's degree in Fiction Writing at the University of Florida. I enjoy tutoring students in an array of English- and writing-related courses, including writing, essay editing, literature, grammar and mechanics, American literature, IB extended essay, and expository writing. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the ACT test. When I tutor, I never put words into a student's mouth. I help them write great papers and essays by asking questions to help them express their own thoughts and ideas more clearly on paper.
