I'm Megan, and I live in Jamaica, New York. I am a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego.I can tutor students in Anatomy, Test Prep, General Biology, Reading, Essay Editing, Algebra 1-4, Science, Math, Writing, English, Study Skills and Organization, PSAT Writing Skills, SAT (Math, Critical Reading, and Writing), AP Biology, and more.I feel that I can relate to the students I tutor. When I was a kid, I had a hard time with certain subjects at school, so I sought out tutoring to help myself. I took the Scholastic Assessment Test, the Specialized High School Admissions Test, and the Medical College Admissions Test prep. These exams were a great help to me. Many years later, I learned how to teach about difficult concepts and ideas. I also learned that students really benefit from effective communication, patience, and knowledge about many subjects.When I need a vacation from teaching students, I like to be involved with my favorite hobbies. I keep fit by skiing down steep slopes during the winter months, and jogging around my neighborhood when it's warmer. I like to relax by crocheting.
