I attended Northwestern University. I currently have my teaching license for the state of Massachusetts and am licensed as an English and language arts teacher for grades fifth through eighth. I have been working in that capacity for more than two years. In addition, I also tutor science to eighth graders and math to third graders. I am able to teach students in a variety of subjects including elementary and middle school math, science for grades 5-8, reading for grades 1-12, math for grades 1-9, writing for grades 1-12. I also have experience teaching environmental, social, and physical sciences. I enjoy working with students on all types of writing including essay, creative, expository, fiction, persuasive, and poetry. I have a passion for learning and teaching and I believe my experience will show that.When I am not teaching, I enjoy exploring the great city of Brooklyn, NY and the surrounding areas, museums, music, photography, and traveling.
