Experience
I started tutoring when I was in fifth grade. The program was called "Peer Tutoring". It was designed to help younger students with learning and comprehension while at the same time to help feel accepted and comfortable in their own skin. I've always wanted to help people. Before I started graduate school, I was accepted into the Americorps program, and I am now attending the Actors Studio Drama School obtaining my MFA in acting. It is important to me as a tutor to make sure that my students are not only learning and retaining the material, but also, understanding why it is important to learn. I am a very passionate person. I am patient, persistent, and relaxed. I don't get flustered easily, and I don't give up until I feel the student has fully grasped the material. I want learning to be a fun and rewarding experience for my students, and I treat each one of them with respect and kindness. I look forward to any and every challenge that gets thrown my way.

I absolutely love music! It is a huge part of my life. I am a guitar player, drummer, singer, and have been a part of bands and music groups throughout my life. I also collect records. I grew up in a small town in PA, so I love the outdoors, and working outside with my hands. I've always been an athlete; I've played baseball, basketball, tennis, and football. I could talk sports for hours. I'm just a regular guy who likes sports, music, and video games, and I am very passionate about them! I am down to earth, humble, and easy-going.
