ExperienceAs a New York Regents Exam tutor for math and science, I focus on the three most important aspects of successful teaching: Repetition. Students require several examples to completely grasp what they are being taught.Patience. It is essential that a tutor be even tempered when a student has difficulty understanding or learning.Encouragement. A positive, nurturing, caring environment is a must when teaching students.I can tutor everyone from elementary school children to undergraduate college students, and I am passionate about all math subjects including algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, statistics, and trigonometry. But I am most enthusiastic about SAT Math 1 and 2. I enjoy the wide range of topics covered in SAT preparation.A graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, I now attend the New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering, where I am studying for a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. When not working or at school, I can often be found walking around New York to find new places to eat, or running to stay healthy and alert. I also like to read and to write.
HobbiesMy hobbies outside of academia include city-exploring, trying out new food and restaurants, reading, writing, and running to keep my mind and body healthy.
