Experience
I have undergraduate degrees in communications, history, and Italian studies that I earned at Tufts University. I then continued my education at Columbia University, earning a graduate degree in modern European studies. My thesis explored the presence of fascism in Italian films, and I'm continuing my education at Columbia for a doctoral degree in Italian studies. I have a decade of experience as a tutor and teacher, working with everyone from small children to college students. These days I mostly focus on tutoring students in test preparation and language learning, primarily Italian and Spanish. I know that every student has their own learning style, and adapt my teaching approach to match that as well as the student's interests and needs. When I have free time, I like to cook, practice photography, read, listen to music, and cheer on the New York Jets. I visited over 20 countries, and I'm looking forward to visiting more.
